Susan Gittins, Director of Research

Susan Gittins brings more than two decades of research expertise in human resources to Brown Schroeder & Associates. She has conducted extensive executive-level searches for a wide range of multinational corporations and privately-held venture-funded organizations throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Before joining Brown Schroeder & Associates, Susan was Director of North America recruiting for the Industry Practices Group at A.T. Kearney Management Consulting in Chicago. She was also a Senior Associate at Korn/Ferry International in Chicago, where she performed search assignments across multiple industries and functions. Susan holds a B.A. degree in history and politics from Victoria College at the University of Toronto.

Tamiko Rast, Director of Information Systems and Design

Tamiko Rast has more than a decade of web design, Internet marketing, application development and backend IT systems experience. Before joining the Brown Schroeder & Associates team, she designed web sites and developed web applications for a variety of companies, including Fox Racing, the Japanese American Citizens League, Cisco Systems, the City of San Jose, Trapeze Networks, Intellisys and the University of Rhode Island.

Tamiko studied graphic design and technology at Santa Clara University, the University of California at Berkeley and San Jose State University. Her work has been widely recognized and she is the recipient of several prestigious communications awards.
